Hed P.E. is an awful band. In keeping with their awful nu-metal songs they’ve just released an awful nu-metal DVD in which they try and convince the world they have anything to do with punk rock. At least I think that’s what they were trying to do before their dealer showed up and the focus went to how stoned the dudes are all the time. Some quick numbers for you; this “punk” band says the words “fag, homo, faggot, or queer” at least 25 times and references or smokes pot 30 times in an hour of crappy staged “candid footage” and awful faux-punk rap metal live clips. My fiancée observed that the best thing about this DVD and CD package is that it would keep Hed P.E. fans off the street for a few hours. I can’t say I disagree with her, but at least dudes who think I.C.P. is “dope” are probably stoked on this. Beware.
